Alternative Perspectives’ Student Photo Competition

The competition is designed to celebrate the thousands of life-changing global mobility experiences enjoyed by students across the network since 1997.

Currently enrolled students studying at a U21 member institution who are participating in, or have in the past participated in, a U21 experience (e.g. student exchange, conference or summer school) are invited to submit a digital photo that responds to the theme ‘Alternative Perspectives’, together with a photo caption or tagline, no longer than 30 words. .

Submissions need to respond to the question "How has your U21 experience shaped your global outlook and helped prepare you for life in a globalised society?"

The competition will be judged at the 2018 U21 Annual Network Meetings and 21st birthday celebrations, hosted at the University of Melbourne in May. A prize will be awarded for the best photo as judged by U21 delegates attending the conference, and for the two most popular photos as determined by the online voting system. Winners will receive either an Apple iPad or Apple Watch.

Students should apply directly to Universitas 21 via their  by Sunday 22 April, 2018.

Enquiries about the photo competition may be emailed to Jasmine Lim ([email protected]) at The University of Melbourne.

Please note that the Universitas 21 and The University of Melbourne reserve the right to remove any entries that do not meet the submission guidelines.

Winners will be notified via email by Friday 18 May 2018.
