The Swiss Embassy is pleased to announce the newly launched ThinkSwiss Asia-Pacific research scholarship. The program provides grants to Bachelor / Master students enrolled at any Australian universities for a 3-month research internship at a Swiss University.

 

In Australia, ThinkSwiss Asia-Pacific is managed by the Swiss Embassy in Canberra. This program is funded by the , part of the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation ().

 

The call for applications to the 2019 ThinkSwiss Asia Pacific research scholarship is now open till 15 December 2018 (online). The program provides grants to students enrolled at Australian universities for a 3-month research internship at a Swiss university. The scholarship is open to students in all fields. Students are responsible for finding a host professor or mentor at a Swiss institution as well as clarifying the scope of a research project before submitting their research scholarship application.

Students should apply directly to the Program via their  by 15 December 2018.

Risk assessment

All programs involve some degree of risk to participants. If you choose to source a provider on your own, please remember to do some research on them first and ensure that they are a legitimate organisation and that the product they offer will definitely meet your requirements. Students are therefore advised to undertake their own risk assessment before departure and any participation in these programs is at their own risk.
