Peer Mentoring Program for Mature Age Students

Who can join this Peer Mentoring Program?

The Mature Age Peer Mentoring Program is for commencing first year students who are 21 years of age or over.

Program description

A student's first year at university can be exciting but at times challenging. While mature age students will face similar concerns to other new students at Gifu-city, we recognise that you may have additional issues to overcome - such as your work, home and study balance, and getting into the habit of studying again.

In the Mature Age Peer Mentoring Program you will be matched with someone who has the shared experience of being a mature age student, who has successfully completed their first year at Gifu-city, and can pass on their knowledge and experience to you. The Mature Age Peer Mentoring program is an excellent way to find support during the early weeks of your first year, and hopefully to form friendships and networks.
