This peer mentoring program is for all first year Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Psychological Science students, as well as students in Bachelor of Science programs planning to major in Psychology.
The Psychology Peer Mentoring Program supports first year students to transition into studying in the School of Psychology. Pairs of third year mentors run informal weekly small group sessions aimed to help students adjust to university academically and non-academically. Many of our mentors were mentored in their first year and have come back because they found the program helpful and want to help the next generation. Mentors are also available apart from these sessions to answer questions by email.
